This Privacy Policy describes how Inficrux AI Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use EduCruxAI, our parent portal mobile application, and related EduCruxAI services.

EduCruxAI is designed for parents and guardians to access school-related information about their children. The school or educational institution remains the primary controller of student data; we process data on behalf of schools to deliver the service.

By downloading, installing, or using EduCruxAI, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

EduCruxAI does not ask parents to register or submit their name, email address, or phone number inside the mobile app.

When a student is enrolled, the school administrator enters parent or guardian details (such as name, email, and phone number) in the EduCruxAI admin web portal. Those records are linked to the student's admission number.

To sign in, parents only enter the student admission number and password. The app then displays school-managed information already stored in the system.

If your contact details are incorrect or missing, please contact your school administration — we cannot change admin-registered parent records from the app alone.

We group information into what you enter in the app versus what your school has already registered:

• •Information you enter in EduCruxAI: Student admission number and password for login. We do not collect parent name, email, or phone number through in-app registration forms.
• •Information provided by your school (admin web): Parent or guardian name, email address, phone number, and linked student records entered by authorized school staff during enrollment or updates.
• •Student information (from school records): Student name, admission number, class, section, attendance, grades, exam results, fee details, homework, assignments, and school communications.
• •Financial information (from school records): Fee balances, invoices, and payment history shown in the app. EduCruxAI does not collect or store credit card or UPI credentials; payments, if any, are handled outside the app by the school or its payment partners.
• •Device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for security, compatibility, and troubleshooting. We do not use the app to harvest contacts, photos, or files from your phone.
• •Usage data: In-app screens viewed, features used, and technical logs to improve reliability and fix errors.
• •Communications: School announcements and messages made available to parents through the platform.

We use personal information for the following purposes:

• •To authenticate your login using the student admission number and password.
• •To display parent and student information that the school has registered in the admin system.
• •To send push notifications and in-app alerts about school updates (where enabled).
• •To maintain, secure, and improve the EduCruxAI application and backend services.
• •To respond to support requests and resolve technical issues.
• •To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.

We process personal data based on: (a) performance of our contract with the school to provide EduCruxAI services; (b) the school's legitimate interest in communicating with parents; (c) your consent where required (e.g., optional notifications); and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• •With the school or educational institution that enrolled you and your child.
• •With service providers who host, operate, or support our infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery) under strict confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
• •When required by law, court order, or government authority.
• •To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, schools, or the public.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including:

• •Role-based permissions so only authorized school staff and verified parent accounts can access records.
• •Regular monitoring and security reviews of our systems.
• •Data may be stored on secure servers located in India or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services to your school. Retention periods may also be determined by the school's policies and applicable law.

When you request account deletion or when your school terminates service, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or backup purposes.

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• •Access the personal data we hold about you.
• •Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• •Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• •Withdraw consent for optional processing (such as non-essential notifications).
• •Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• •Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
• •To exercise these rights, contact us at support@educrux.in or use the in-app options described below. To update parent name, email, or phone number, contact your school administration — those details are maintained through the admin portal.

You may delete your EduCruxAI account access through Settings → Security → Delete Account in the app. This revokes your mobile app access and disables your ability to log in to EduCruxAI.

Deleting your app account does not automatically delete all student records held by the school. For complete removal of student or family data from school systems, please contact your school administration directly.

You may also email support@educrux.in with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include the student admission number used to log in.

EduCruxAI is intended for use by parents and guardians, not directly by children. Student information displayed in the app is provided and managed by the school.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate school authorization and parental involvement. If you believe a child's data was collected improperly, contact us immediately at support@educrux.in.

The app or school website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

EduCruxAI is primarily designed for schools in India. If you access the service from outside India, your information may be transferred to and processed in India or other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.

For material changes, we may notify users through the app, via the school, or by other appropriate means. Continued use of EduCruxAI after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
